Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt make for a likeable on-screen combo in Director Morten Tyldum's follow-up to 2014's Oscar winning "The Imitation Game." Passengers is the most fun I have had at the movies all year, and while the film is light on plot, and heavy on unnecessary exposition filled dialogue, Lawrence and Pratt are so likeable and do such great work in this film that they elevate the subpar material to be something that is truly engaging and cinematic. Passengers is great for along time, until it isn't when it becomes another boring standard CGI heavy action movie, and while the characters make very questionable choices in this film, the world building, acting, score, and production design all compensate for the poor (and unethical) storytelling.
