The follow-up to 2012's incredible Skyfall is an absolute disappointment in every sense. Sam Mendes's lazy direction and the over edited screenplay make for a fun yet dull and predictable entry in the 007 franchise. While it is not a disaster, Spectre is essentially at the level of 2009's mediocre Quantom of Solace. Daniel Craig phones it in as 007, and Christoph Waltz chews the scenery as the films antagonist. Spectre is not a must see, which is surprising for a 007 film.
